Software Overview

The backup software is installed either on an existing server or workstation connected to the network, or on its own dedicated server if the data backup requirements are great.

The software has been developed over 18 years and is used by some of the biggest companies in the U.K. and across the globe. It is an extremely robust and reliable enterprise level based software solution that is capable of backing up distributed and complex data across a local network or WAN.

How It Works

When you sign up for Axos BackUp Pro secure online data backup, you have to do nothing. Just tell us what you want backing up and we do the rest. An engineer will visit your premises to install a small software programme on your server. The engineer then takes a first copy of your data which is either uploaded directly to the data centre or, in the case of very large initial backups, a copy is couriered to the data centre and uploaded locally.

Once set up, the software will at a predetermined time, look for changes across your selected data sets and send only those files changed to the data centre. The software can be set to run during out of office hours so that you data is backed up each and every day whilst you sleep.

There is no more action you need to take. Our engineers will be receive automatic email or mobile alerts if a data backup fails for whatever reason (eg internet connection failure) and will liaise directly with the datacentre on your behalf to complete the backup.

Our service is a premium data back service and costs include all support, free evaluation, free software installation labour costs* and free data restore. We look after the backup for you and monitor successful backup daily giving you peace of mind.
